Riding high from a UK #1 album, Rudimental shared the music video for their hit song “Lay It All On Me,” featuring Ed Sheeran. The drum and bass four piece have always been culturally and politically aware in their music and this video definitely goes there. Between shots of the band and Ed Sheeran, you’ll see some more politically charged images with the word “FREEDOM,” almost questioning the cost of the ideal.  “Lay It All On Me” is an ode to brotherhood and friendship as well. The band also cast mini versions of themselves in the video, showing how they’ve grown as musicians and friends.

The band will perform the single with Ed Sheeran on The Ellen Degeneres Show on November 16th.

This video is a snapshot of our individual journeys through life. It’s about creative expression, and how important love, friendship and family are to us. It was great to work with Ed in our first video appearance.
