Rolex has introduced the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, a bold new addition to its legendary lineup, unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2025. This model redefines the brand’s approach to adventure watches, offering a sophisticated alternative to the deep-sea-focused Sea-Dweller and Submariner, with a design made for those who explore on land.
The Land-Dweller features an integrated bracelet that gives it a seamless, elegant profile, inspired by the sharp lines of Rolex’s 1970s Oysterquartz models. Its honeycomb-pattern dial, a subtle nod to vintage Datejusts, adds texture and depth, while the applied Arabic numerals at 6 and 9 o’clock pay homage to the classic Explorer. With case sizes of 36mm and 40mm, it offers both formal and casual wear versatility.
Beneath the surface, this watch is powered by the Caliber 7135, Rolex’s first 5Hz high-frequency movement, delivering exceptional precision with a 66-hour power reserve. The Dynapulse escapement, a new dual silicon wheel system, improves energy efficiency by 30%, making this one of Rolex’s most advanced movements to date. Despite being built for land-based adventure, the Land-Dweller still maintains Rolex’s signature durability, with a water resistance of 100 meters, ensuring it can handle rugged conditions.
Available in three premium materials, the White Rolesor (steel & white gold) edition, priced at $13,900, features Rolex’s first-ever transparent case back in this material. The Everose Gold version, retailing for $42,100, exudes warmth and luxury, while the Platinum model, at $59,200, stands as the most refined choice, offering an unmatched presence on the wrist.
Blending classic Rolex aesthetics with state-of-the-art mechanics, the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller marks an evolution in Rolex’s sport watch collection. Expected to arrive at authorized retailers later this year.
