RIMOWA continues to lead the luxury travel accessories world after their widely limited edition Rick Owens collaboration launched back in January, today with a limited edition trumpet case. In partnership with GEWA, a German manufacturer of instruments and musical accessories, the case marks the continuation of their roster of specialty products, which has included countless one-of-a-kind collaborations with the worlds coolest brands as well as several interesting cases for connoisseurs of all kinds.
The second collaboration together after the violin case which launched back in March of 2023, the trumpet case is crafted from RIMOWA’s signature durable anodized grooved aluminium and features elegant details like a leather handle and a useful crossbody strap. The interior is fitted with an exacting premium foam inlay and microfiber lining crafted expertly to secure and protect up to two trumpets (both Piston and Rotary models) and comes with two protective dust bags and a portable leather carrying case that fits four mouthpieces or other accessories.
To mark the release of the case, the brand invited award-winning Mexican filmmaker Lila Avilés to direct MÚSICAS, a short film on Mujeres del Viento Florido, a notable all-female Oaxacan wind ensemble set to debut at the Doc Fortnight 2025 (MoMA’s annual Festival of International Nonfiction Film and Media in New York City) on February 23rd.
The RIMOWA x GEWA Trumpet Case will retail for 2900€ and be available worldwide starting March 6th at RIMOWA stores and online.
