German luxury luggage maker Rimowa has teamed up with Italian espresso machine makers La Marzocco to present a special edition Linea Mini espresso machine for Capsule Plaza for Salone del Mobile 2024. Combining the skill and know-how of two of the world’s niche experts in their fields to create a stunning work of art intended to elevate your latte art-making experience.
Each machine takes 40 hours of expert craftsmanship handmade in La Marzocco’s factory in Florence. The exterior details and the working machinery on the inside show the skilled artisan work being done here. The outside grooved panels of this machine were built in Rimowa’s Cologne factory, also assembled and installed entirely by hand, with the integrated hot water tap and knobs made of Rimowa’s famous aluminum.
The Rimowa and La Marzocco special edition Linea Mini espresso machine was made in limited numbers, especially for Milon Design Week 2024. If you see one in the wild, make sure to order a Doppio macchiato and enjoy.
