American designer Rick Owens presents his avant-garde runway show from Paris Fashion Week. Owens decided to showcase his Spring/Summer 2014 collection by having non-traditional models wear the collection. In fact, the models weren’t models at all but rather women from four different “Step Teams” from universities across America. Stomping, scowling and dancing in a raw fashion, all the while wearing butter soft leather long-line gilets in black and sand, slate grey skirts with cutaway hems, stark white dresses with kimono arm holes, kinetic bauble skirts and tunics. What Owens managed to do was showcase the clothing in real life situations, stretching, twisting and gyrating in every possible way. Honestly, you should just watch below.
