Maiden Noir Fall 2009 “Quadrupeds of N. America” Collection

Take a look at this history nerds wet-dream from the upcoming Maiden Noir Fall 2009 “Quadrupeds of N. America” Collection. The brand presents a series of t-shirts, based on the artwork of John Audubon. For those of you who don’t know, John Audubon was a French/American ornithologist, naturalist and painter who cataloged, and described the birds and wildlife of North America in a way far superior to what had come before. His images became synonymous with the new nation of the United States of America and Canada. Each t-shirt will be released in four different colourways, white, army, grey heather, brown heather. A portion of all sales from this collection will be donated to the good cause of the Audubon Society whose mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity. Very cool! The animals depicted on the shirts are the wolf, the beaver, the mountain lion, and fox… maybe?
