Reebok is teaming up with Los Angeles designer Melody Ehsani for yet another sneaker collaboration – this time, in the form of the Question Mid x Melody Ehsani, a women’s version of the iconic Question Mid sneaker paying homage to Allen Iverson and the women in his life.
Alongside Iverson’s longtime photographer Gary Land, Melody Ehsani recruited Iverson’s daughters (Tiaura, Messiah and Dream) and their mother Tawanna to create a visual campaign to accompany the sneaker.
The shoe itself features a number of references to Iverson – a tongue with Iverson’s “Hold My Own” tattoo, a Velcro heel with three swappable leather patches of Iverson’s other tattoos, interior lining with imagery of Iverson’s cornrows and a paisley sock liner representing his iconic bandana.
The Reebok Question Mid x Melody Ehsani is set to drop on December 2nd at Melody Ehsani’s LA store for $160. The shoe will also be available on the Melody Ehsani and Reebok websites.
