For three incredible days last week, energy drink purveyor and cultural cool instigator Red Bull brought their acclaimed ‘Days in’ concert series to Toronto. Taking place across three days in three of the city’s quintessential venues, the concert series showcased local established and on the rise artists in an event the likes of which hadn’t been seen in a long time (if ever).
Over the course of the three days audiences were treated to music the likes of OVO’s Majid Jordan, Tory Lanez, BADBADNOTGOOD and so much more. It was rollercoaster of non stop music. Take a look at our pics of each days performances.
Night One: Inside Toronto’s Great Hall with music from Chris LaRocca, a l l i e, and Majid Jordan with special guest DVSN.
Night Two: Took place inside the historic and legendary Massey Hall with Toronto’s new wave jazz band BADBADNOTGOOD, performing for a solid three hours as musical guests River Tiber, Charlotte Day Wilson and hip hop great Jay Electronic made appearances and performed.
Night Three: The final night was an insane display of Toronto’s finest up and comers in the hip hop world. Hosted by the ‘Prince of the City’ Jazz Cartier with scheduled performances from Killy, CMDWN and Tory Lanez with appearances from Halal Gang members Puffy LZ and Smoke Dawg, and more. Although not literally, the night was pure FIRE!
After this stellar three nights of music let’s keep our fingers crossed for another ‘Days In’ stint in the near future!
