Range Rover marks 20 years of the Range Rover Sport with the TWENTY Edition, a limited-run model that leans into the model’s mix of performance and luxury without overplaying nostalgia. It’s a clean, considered update that reflects where the Sport came from and how it has evolved into one of the brand’s most dynamic offerings.

Launched in the early 2000s, the Range Rover Sport arrived as demand for performance-driven SUVs was building. It also signalled a shift for Range Rover, expanding it into a full lineup. Since then, the Sport has steadily refined its identity, from its Range Stormer-inspired beginnings to today’s more reductive design language with cleaner surfaces and sharper proportions. That evolution helped push the model past one million global sales, cementing its place as a modern luxury performance staple.

Its reputation has been shaped as much by what it has done as by how it looks. The Sport has set a production SUV record at Pikes Peak, climbed the 999 steps of Heaven’s Gate, crossed the Empty Quarter at speed, and powered up Iceland’s Kárahnjúkar Dam. Each moment reinforces the same idea: capability backed by control.
Underneath, that is supported by a steady rollout of technology. Early models brought systems like Dynamic Response and Brembo braking, later joined by an eight-speed automatic for smoother performance. The second generation introduced the 550PS SVR and a hybrid with advanced control systems, while the recent 635PS SV pushed things further with upgraded suspension and braking hardware.

The TWENTY Edition packages that legacy into a focused whole. It features subtle ‘TWENTY’ detailing, a Black Exterior Pack, and 23-inch wheels, with Sanguinello Orange leading the palette alongside Santorini Black and Ostuni White. Inside, Ebony Windsor performance seats from the SV, forged carbon veneers, and a suede cloth headlining give it a darker, more technical feel.

Power comes from a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo V8 mild-hybrid engine producing 530PS, keeping things firmly in line with the Sport’s performance DNA. Available to order now, the TWENTY Edition feels less like a look back and more like a sharp snapshot of a model that is still very much moving forward.
