Raleigh Denim Jeans

This is something wholeheartedly satisfying about a good pair of jeans. They way a good pair of jeans fit to your body, and the more you wear them the better they look. Well  North Carolina based Raleigh Denim are just those jeans. Started by the husband and wife team, Sarah and Victor Lytvinenko, who pride themselves on the fact that 98% of what goes into the company’s jeans are from North Carolina.

“North Carolina used to be the heartbeat of America’s textile industry,” says Victor, “Part of our mission is to rekindle craftsmanship in the U.S.”  To that end, each pair is made from White Oak Cone Denim loomed right in Raleigh, hand signed and individually numbered. The design, development, pattern making, sourcing and even the construction is done by hand by Victor, Sarah and a small staff in their workshop. In fact, even the machines are vintage, made to last. Check out the pictures below to see what we are talking about.

These limited run jeans are carried in only a few select shops worldwide, including Barneys and Barneys Co-op, and lost+found in Toronto.
