This morning The Roots legend Questlove unveiled his passion project on Okayplayer: the anti gun violence campaign that he’s been secretly working on with the not-for-profit organization Everytown for Gun Safety.
The campaign is a series of stunning black and white photos, featuring prominent black artists and influencers of today- Zoe Kravitz, Willow Smith, Dev Hynes, Leon Bridges, Chloe & Halle and Anderson .Paak.
Each artists holds an orange board featuring the text “WE CAN END GUN VIOLENCE”. A simple message, with a huge effort, by extremely talented people in a community that has seen too much gun violence in the last year alone.
