Last fall, Brooklyn’s Psychic Twin (the project of Erin Fein) released Strange Diary, the act’s debut record. One of the songs on that record is “Stop In Time” and now there’s a video (just in time) to match. Directed by Ashley Robicheaux (also the choreographer) and Jake Saner (also DOP), the video features Fein & Robicheaux alongside Psychic Twin drummer/programmer/producer Rosana Caban and dancers Matilda Sakamoto, Ruth Howard, Holly Sass and Rebecca Margolick. Fein explained her thoughts on the video in a press release saying…
“In light of the upcoming Women’s March, I feel even more proud of this video statement. This is a song specifically about stopping time, poetically. It is about trying to make great and even unthinkable or nearly impossible change occur. The video itself is a beautifully choreographed piece about the strength of women working together. We can do the impossible. We can make great change. When we work together, not even time or dimension can stand in our way.”
