Yesterday we had the opportunity to sneak an advance look at the new Converse Jack Purcell Signature Sneaker at Home Studios in New York. Set for release on February 15th in Canada and the US, the innovative new design aesthetically has been modernized with 18 new features and benefits we had the chance to see and feel first hand.
The first and biggest feature is the addition of Nike Zoom Air Technology in the Ortholite footbed which you can see below in our photos of the shoe cut in half. Other features that give this sneaker its premium feel include a lightweight powder blue herringbone sole, a two-ply duck canvas and streamlined toecap, reinforced non-slip canvas heel for durability, polished aluminium eyelets, a winged tongue, and the signature two-piece Jack Purcell smile in Converse blue. The branding on the shoe stays totally iconic in Converse colours giving a nod to this revolutionized her sneaker, sure to become a future classic and carry on the Jack Purcell evolution.
