Prada’s Fall/Winter 2025 menswear collection by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, shown in Milan, is all about embracing our raw, human instincts. Instead of carefully planned designs, it focuses on genuine, unfiltered reactions—putting real emotion and passion above strict logic. In this collection, romance isn’t just about sentimentality; it’s an authentic and instinctive force.

This idea shows up in the clothes through unexpected pairings that feel intimate and edgy, suggesting that true style comes from trusting your gut. The pieces also highlight a desire for both comfort and allure. For example, shearling looks great and wraps you in a cozy, protective warmth. At the same time, knitwear decorated with metal symbols hints at ancient talismans and our deep need for safety and connection.

The show’s setting, designed by AMO, echoes these themes. Set in Fondazione Prada’s Deposito, the space mixes rough industrial metal with soft, plush carpeting.  This mix creates a dynamic environment that feels part grand hall, part intimate club, with shifting lighting adding to the cinematic mood. All are designed to remind us of our basic human need for connection.

Overall, the collection and its presentation celebrate the beauty of our instinctual side, showing that creativity, romance, and genuine connection come from embracing our most basic impulses.
