German automotive brand Porsche has unveiled its newest iteration of its all-electric sedan, the Taycan Turbo GT. This new model of their ultra-sleek EV is the most powerful production vehicle the brand has ever made, including all 911 variants and even the 918 hypercar. Whoa! The new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT even tops the Turbo S electric vehicle with an output of up to 1,092 horsepower and 988 lb-ft of torque at its peak. 0-60 in 2.2 seconds, which feels close to lightspeed, and thanks to the 21″ Pirelli P Zero R tires, you get max performance summer grip, and lightweight Porsche Carbon Composite Brakes (PCCB) come standard to help with intense braking force and fade resistance. It sounds incredible, but the best new feature, IMO, is the “Attack Mode” feature that provides 120 kW or roughly 160 hp of additional power for overtaking on straightaways.

So how do you make the fastest Porsche ever made even more desirable? The Taycan Turbo GT will have an optional Weissach Package, which, believe it or not, is a no-cost option that adorns the rear of the Taycan Turbo GT with an exclusive wing for added downforce and a bunch of lightweight removals, including, most notably the rear seats and the trunk’s electronic soft-closing system. The rear speakers and BOSE, the dual charging ports, and carbon fibre panels also cut weight off the B-pillars, mirrors, side skirt inlays, carbon bucket front seats and more. The Turbo GT is already 157 lbs. lighter than the Taycan Turbo S, and the Weissach package is even lighter. This means the Weissach package will get you from 0-60 in 2.1 seconds and a faster top speed of 190 mph or 305.775 kph. On a straightaway, this is faster than a helicopter!
