Pixie Geldof, UK It Girl and former frontwoman of the shoegazey outfit Violets, is coming out with her first solo album this year. The debut, I’m Yours, is set for a September release on Stranger Records. Geldof has dropped two dreamy tracks along with this announcement, “So Strong” and “Escape Route.” The former is shoegaze at its finest: a hazy 4 minutes swirling through Geldof’s vocals. “Escape Route” takes on some serious Kate Bush meets a great American western standoff vibes.
