Phoenix has shared the title track from their forthcoming album, Ti Amo. Following “J-Boy,” this is the second single to be released off the highly-anticipated work, which is the band’s first album in over four years.
“Ti Amo” features a more frenetic tone than “J-Boy,” but similarly possesses the distinct cheerful sounds signature to the Parisian alternative rock band. Continuing the thematic use of Italian, frontman Thomas Mars can be heard singing the words “I love you” in the language, as well as French and Spanish. His wife is the celebrated Academy Award winner Sofia Coppola, daughter of distinguished filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, who is of Italian descent.
Enjoy “Ti Amo” above and look for the album to drop on June 9. The band will also be embarking on a world tour to support the album. Dates and ticketing information can be viewed here.
