Creative director Phoebe Philo has announced that she will be leaving Céline after nearly ten years with the French fashion house.

The 44-year-old designer was the creative director of Stella McCartney back in 2001 and then joined Céline in 2008.

In a statement, Philo said:

“Working with Céline has been an exceptional experience for me these last 10 years. I am grateful to have worked with an incredibly talented and committed team and I would like to thank everyone along the way who has been a part of the collaborations and conversations.”

Céline’s fall/winter 2018 collection, which will be shown next spring, will be Philo’s final for the label.
