A new exhibit called Paris Trompe-l’oeil is taking over the notable La Samaritine department store in celebration of Surrealism. On now until Nov. 1, the exhibit draws on “dreams, the unconscious, and the fantastical,” to highlight some of the best 20th century artists from the period. Expect to see AI generated images cast on the historic building. The event will also preview designer selections from the Puces de Saint-Ouen antique market, set in a pop-up space that will feature two works from artist Lise Stoufflet. The installations gained buzz during this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
