In the run up to the Saint Laurent Mens Fall/Winter 2014 show, Purple TV presents a short film titled “Paris, 2014 – Saint Laurent” directed by Paul Franco and Emmanuel Giraud. The short film showcases the classic story of two young lovers trapped in a cycle of lust, resulting in a twist caused by momentary passion. Featuring models Anja Konstantinova and Sylvester Henricksen Ulv, the story is based on the evolution of the label under Hedi Slimane artistic direction today, and from the original quotation of Yves Saint Laurent “Le plus beau vetement qui puisse habiller une femme, ce sont les bras de l’homme qu’elle aime” translated as “The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves.” Watch below.
