Day 2

Starting off our day late with a high energy set from Long Beach native Vince Staples. Armed with his new album Big Fish Theory, a North American tour with Gorillaz under his belt, the young rapper brought an energy to the main Stage that was definitely needed on the cloudy and hazy day.

From there Nick Murphy formerly Chet faker, performed a set of old and new music that most fans appreciated, although you definitely had the vibe that a lot of people had no idea who Nick Murphy was.

From there the headline set for Saturday was performed by Tame Impala. Although an unexpected music festival headliner, Tame Impala took the audience on a psychedelic sonic journey through dance with production worthy of any headline set.

Lead singer and front man Kevin Parker seemed to appreciate the circumstance by calling out to the crowd, “thank you for letting us be the soundtrack to your Saturday night.” It was a trippy dance party that seemed to have everyone in a great mood. Good call Panorama, good call.
