Just in time for you to start crafting your holiday wish lists, Opening Ceremony and France’s Armor Lux have teamed up for a very special (and super cozy) holiday slipper. The base is a traditional “charantaise;” unchanged in form and handcrafted in the same way for over 300 years, this slipper served as soft inner shoe to the wooden shoes worn by fishermen and farmers in France until the turn of the 20th Century. Normally made up with a felted upper layer, Opening Ceremony opted instead for leopard printed faux fur, which puts its own unique twist on this classic shoe. The Opening Ceremony x Armor Lux slippers will be available starting Dec. 1 in Opening Ceremony stores and in its webshop for a price of $95 USD.
