Next up in our On The Rise series, we feature vocalist, drummer, and producer Olivver The Kid.
Bryan Sammis aka Olivver The Kid has been making some stealthy moves this year. If the 24-year-old LA native looks and sounds a bit familiar, it’s because he used to be the drummer in The Neighbourhood.
Since parting ways with The NBHD in early 2014, Olivver was on this year’s sold out American Youth Tour with Halsey and Young Rising Sons as well as featuring on Skizzy Mars’ “Time” with G-Eazy. In April, he released a track called “I Want It” with an unforgettable falsetto following up late 2014’s Freak EP. He also did a brilliant remix of Verre’s “Taste The Sky.” Olivver is a synthpop dream with the vocals and skills to match. To quote a friend, “this kid could sell water to a drowning man.” Olivver is currently in the studio and we hope to hear more from him.
