Monse’s Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim and Off-White’s Virgil Abloh, Tsumori Chisato and Jonathan Saunders will be designing the costumes for the sixth installment of the New York City Ballet’s fall fashion gala.
Each of the designers were handpicked and paired with a different choreographer to create the costumes for each set of performances. The annual event will feature four premiers choreographed by Lauren Lovette, Troy Schumacher, Justin Peck and Gianna Reisen.
Past designers for the gala have included Thom Browne, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, and Valentino among others.
This year’s gala will take place on September 28.
