Rachel Comey opted out not to have a fashion show this year at New York Fashion Week instead choosing to host an intimate dinner for editors, friends, artists, and celebs at the Pioneer Works Center for Arts & Innovation in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
The collection was photographed in the room empty, and models later walked the runway while a women in red sang live. Celebs in attendance for the dinner were Maggie Gyllenhaal, Greta Gerwig, Peter Sarsgaard, Zosia Mamet, Rashida Jones, Parker Posey, Cindy Sherman, and of course Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim.
We’re pretty much in love with the entire collection, which I’m sure we’ll spend the whole season coveting and saving up for. Stand out pieces included a pair of acid wash high waisted jeans, a white lace jumpsuit, and printed velvet slip dress.
