Okay, so this is totally old news, but I just stumbled upon this album and felt I should share it with you dear readers, especially because we here at sidewalkhustle love to share free music!
Novels is the collaborative effort of Graham Wright from Tokyo Police Club, Luke Lalonde from Born Ruffians, Will Currie from Will Currie & The Country French, Dean Marino from Ex~po, and Jason Sadlowski from Jay Said, written and recorded in one expeditious night at Chemical Sound in Toronto.
The result is an album with five sheer genius tracks that will not be available for sale online or in stores, but rather for free download. They are encouraging fans to burn, share, and photograph the album with friends and send it into the Novels blog. They also just announced a limited number of hand made Novels Notebooks with CD enclosed will be left in undisclosed locations, so if you find one, you are truly lucky so go ahead and get yourself a lottery ticket as well!
