Philadelphia-based slowcore shoegaze band Nothing have released the album trailer and are streaming “Dig”, their first single from their debut LP Guilty of Everything set to be released on March 4th via Relapse Records. The new single pulls of a neat trapeze act: they manage to create a vast, cascading wall of sound while still maintaining tight sonic focus thanks to Domenic Palermo’s crystalline vocals. “Dig” seems to combine Soundgarden’s heavy Marshall crunch with Spiritualized’s slow, lysergic charms to conjure up a sonic stew that crackles with dark energy.
