Some collaborations just make sense on arrival. This one is easy. NN.07 has linked up with Grenson to bring together Copenhagen’s contemporary design language and a heritage British shoemaker, framed as “tradition reimagined.”

The NN.07 x Grenson Mule lands right in step with the current loafer mule moment. Built on a classic moccasin silhouette, it features a soft nappa leather upper with a hand-stitched gathered apron that delivers a glove-like fit. The construction stays lightweight, finished with a flexible leather sole, making it an easy option for spring.

It carries a relaxed but polished feel, balancing NN.07’s understated modern approach with Grenson’s long-standing craftsmanship. Grenson itself has been steadily reshaped under Tim Little, the shoemaker and entrepreneur who bought the company in 2010 and has since guided it toward a sharper mix of heritage construction and contemporary design thinking.

The black colorway releases on May 13 for $320 USD, in limited quantities, through Grenson, NN.07, and NN.07 flagship stores worldwide. It also marks the start of an ongoing collaboration, continuing Grenson’s evolution under Tim Little, where heritage and contemporary design meet with a clearer point of view.
