20 years after the launch of Nike’s Air Max 95’s, these iconic kicks are making a comeback. To celebrate marketing and communications agency Ogilvy & Mather have created Air Max 95 collectible trading cards in collaboration with local Hong Kong artists. Each trading card is designed to incorporate the styles and ideals of Hong Kong over the past 20 years, and are available through vending machines.
Of course they wouldn’t be true collectible trading cards without some rares, and as such, there are three of them to collect. The first two are the ‘Air Max 95 OG Neon Card’ and the ‘Air Max 95 Greedy Card,’ both of which allow you to purchase the limited edition shoe immediately if you are lucky enough to score them. Lastly, and obviously the most sought after card, is the metallic hologram Nike ID card. If you get this card you win the proverbial jackpot, a chance to custom design your own pair of Air Max 95 kicks.
These vending machines are currently in Nike’s Kickslounge in Causeway Bat and Tsim Sha Tsui until August 25th, so if you’re in Japan make sure you head over and collect them all!
