After releasing the Special Field Air Force 1 back in November to much fanfare, Nike is back with another iteration of the military-inspired sneaker, this time in a Mid version.
The design flips the iconic Air Force 1 silhouette into a fully winterized boot inspired by the Nike Special Field boot, complete with with premium touches like full grain leather, woven ankle straps and rip stop ballistic nylon. The new “Mid” version also adds a slick tiger stripe camouflage jacquard, double zipper entry at heel and military-inspired printed text on the side of the shoe.
No doubt these will be a huge hit given the runaway success of the SF-AF1 thus far. Get ready to cop Thursday June 8 at Nike+, SNKRS, nike.com and at select retailers.
