The Nike Air Safari, was released in 1987, and was considered a big risk for the brand due to the colourway and now famous safari print. However when the Safari was featured on Biz Markie’s Goin Off album sleeve its position in history was cemented. Fast forward today and we get the new “deconstructed” version of the classic runner, in four new colourways, and made from a premium suede or leather upper, with detailed overlays and complemented with leather accents. The upper sits on a thick sole, completed with a thin tongue and the simple outline of a perforated Swoosh logo and tonal flat laces
