Chilean-American composer and recording artist Nicolas Jaar is starting 2017 off right with the surprise release of an alternative version of his 2016 release Sirens. The final album that Jaar released was well-received but was not the same version that he originally premiered on his Other People radio network leading up to the drop. But because art in the digital era is a fluid, oft-changing entity (read Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo) Jaar has released the full “Network Version” of Sirens. This release also finds several bonus tracks that didn’t make it to the initial version and it’s pretty stellar.
