Alright, everyone can officially stop holding their breath as TV On The Radio just announced details of a new album dropping much sooner than we ever expected! We’ve been missing them since their epic Dear Science tour in Summer 2009 with Dirty Projectors and are completely shocked at news that the band, who were once on a bit of break, are back together about to drop their fifth full length album titled Nine Types of Light this spring via Interscope.
Along with this exciting announcement comes news of a special show taking place at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 13th set to kick off a national tour. We couldn’t be more overjoyed and will certainly be grabbing tickets as soon as the full tour announcement is posted in the next few days. We’re keeping our fingers crossed they’ll be stopping off in our fair city and if not, hopefully they’ll be added to the roster for Coachella, because really, how could they not partake?
