Fueled by the fires of Ra Ra Riot’s sophomore album The Orchard, the bands founding member and bassist Mathieu Santos is branching out on his own for a bit with a solo project that we really enjoy the sound of thus far.
It has a happy beachy sound to it, which is the perfect complement to the weather we’re currently experiencing and we can’t wait to hear it in full on August 2nd when Massachusetts 2010 is set to drop via Barsuk Records. A limited edition signed and hand numbered LP will be available when the album drops and will even include a hand drawn illustration in each of the 500 white vinyls.
