What do you get when you mix the soul stylings of Booker T. Jones backed by The Roots, Sharon Jones, and the distinctive baritone vocals of The National’s Matt Berninger? Not what we expected, but it’s freaking great anyway.
We thought for sure they wouldn’t gel because Berninger’s got such a specific sounding voice, but with all the talent going into the collaborative track, how could it not be awesome, right?
