With the holidays around the corner, it’s that time of year for everyone to break out their ugliest sweaters to show off for the annual company holiday party. For those who’d like to make a more conscious statement, rapper Nas has announced the release of the “Kneeling Santa” Christmas sweater. Making a nod to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s silent protest to taking a knee during the American national anthem, the sweater depicts Santa Claus kneeling framed by power-fists and traditional. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the criminal justice reform non-profit organization The Center for Court Innovation.
