N.E.R.D. has surprised everyone with a brand new track today, almost exactly seven years since their last full length project Nothing.
Titled “Lemon,” the track incorporates an infectiously energetic instrumental, an element fans have grown to love from The Neptunes producers. A music video, directed by Todd Tourso (Beyoncé) and Scott Cudmore, has also been released and it includes an appearance from the song’s other artist, Rihanna. Leading up to today, a new website and mysterious banners have been spotted by fans, which caused many to speculate about the release of long-awaited new music from N.E.R.D.
