You know I love me some sweet kicks! Make them limited edition and made of rare material and you will have me knocking down your door/email inbox trying to get a pair. So you can only imagine how HIGH I jumped when I saw these AMAZING Mor Arctic Fish Leather Sneakers. Arctic Fish leather what the?

UK based sneaker brand Mors, is set to release a  range of sneakers made from Arctic fish skin for Fall/Winter 2010 in limited quantities. The footwear company will be releasing two styles, a high top called the ‘hoop’ which will be available in electric blue fish leather and a black/blue fish leather colourway, and a low top called the ‘net’  which will be  available in a dark blue fish leather.

This Arctic fish leather is made from salmon skin that comes from the north of Iceland and apparently is a very strong and supple leather with amazingly luxurious textures and vivid colours.  Because of the difficulty in making sneakers from fish leather, the sneakers can only be produced in extremely small numbers. Each shoe is handcrafted to the highest standard in Portugal.
