Earlier this week, indie hit LBGTQ + POC posi film Moonlight rightfully won the coveted Best Picture Oscar (after that whole La La mixup) as well as Best Adapted Screenplay and the film’s Mahershala Ali took home Best Supporting Actor.
We recently shared the Moonlight centric Calvin Klein campaign which is a treat for the eyes, and last week director Barry Jenkins shared a treat for the ears. In case you missed it, Jenkins tweeted out a chopped and screwed Moonlight mix, made up of inspirations and tracks from the film. Titled Purple Moonlight, the mixtape was made with Houston collective The Chopstars and is all kinds of wonderful.
