Fall has officially arrived and summer seems to be a distant memory now. Get out your jackets, your boots, and your infinity scarves! But for those packing up to fly south this winter, we’re pouring one out for all the amazing summer beauty releases, you’ll want to be sure to pack.

Urban Decay – Naked Heat Palette
This is a mega one. This palette was fucking epic. It boasted the same great qualities of the other naked palettes but included shades of warm coppers, bricks and deep chocolates. The pay off of these shadows is incredible and they’re extremely blendable, so layering shades is not an issue. We’ll definitely keep using this palette well into fall and winter, because that warm smoky eye is just too good. We definitely recommend you run to your local Sephora store and pick one of these bad boys up, regardless of whether you’ve booked a holiday or not.
Charlotte Tilbury – Film Star Bronze Glow
Just a forewarning this is not the last highlighter you will see on this list. It is however one of the best powder highlight/bronzing duo’s we’ve ever applied. It’s highly pigmented and very light in weight, so a little really goes a long way. The matte bronzer helps to slim and sculpt the face. While the highlight is used to create a totally natural glow. This is a great palette for every day use as the contour and highlight are not extreme. It’s a beautiful set, in a beautiful package, and it even smells nice, which is always an added bonus.
Pat McGrath Labs – Mattetrance Lipstick in Antidote 207 (Magenta Violet)
If you can’t trust Ms. McGrath when it comes to makeup, then you can’t trust anyone. This lipstick is absolutely stunning. It is richly pigmented and very creamy. It has a matte texture and is fully opaque when applied. Antidote 207 is a sexy shade of magenta, that isn’t just for summer, but can be rocked on a night out any time of year. This is a limited edition shade, so it might be hard to get your hands on one, but a trip to Sephora online or in-store wouldn’t be a bad idea. Quickly now!
GUCCI Bloom Eau De Parfum Spray
Nothing says summer heat like florals and this scent is definitely that. This classic, fresh scent is a bit on the powdery side but balanced with flowery notes of Rangoon creeper, jasmine bud, and tuberose. The combination makes for a rich scent sure will make warm summer nights that much more romantic. This is definitely a summer scent, so make sure you store it for winter or after you’re back from your trip.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner – Luna(tic) 64 – Metallic Pale Lavender
If we could buy all of these eyeliners all the time, we would. It’s almost as if a gel pot has been stuffed into a pencil. The colour is intense and extra creamy. It glides on effortlessly and can be left to dry or smudged with a smudge brush. These pencils are waterproof, so don’t worry about it budging. Luna(tic) is the perfect pop of shimmer that looks incredible under the bottom lash line. It adds some dimension of colour to what might be an every day look. Find them all at Sephora.
Farsali – Rose Gold Elixir
This is another product that we intend to keep on using, no matter the season. The Rose Gold Elixir is a liquid serum that acts as a moisturizer and can be used in conjunction with your foundation, or applied before your foundation is applied. It is infused with 24kt gold and is rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants. This is a great serum to apply before going to bed to even out your skin tone, reduce the appearance of lines and fine wrinkles, and give your skin a youthful glow. What’s great about this elixir (and while we’re at it, all other Farsali products), is they’re formulated without sulphates or parabens. Find them at Sephora.
Urban Decay – Troublemaker Mascara
The Troublemaker mascara is formulated with Vitamin E and Panthenol, which both aid in nourishing lashes. Which means we already like it! The polymers found in the mascara allow for the makeup to stick to your lashes, and remain there, all day, until you have to take it off. We’re serious, this mascara does not budge! The wand helps to volumize and evenly distribute mascara which gives the appearance of thicker and longer looking lash making it an all-year-round product. So go…now, and get one and make your lashes happy.
Too Faced – Lip Injection Extreme
Who doesn’t wonder what they would look like with a full lips? If you do and you’re not interested in injections, you have to try this lip plumper. This lip plump serum is to be applied both in the morning and at night. If you can feel the tingles than you know it’s doing its job. The product itself is a clear gloss, so not to worry about it looking any which way. With continued use, lips will keep plumping, so keep an eye on it, as the results are long term. Perfect for hot weather, can be kept in the makeup bag all year-round.
Cover FX – Custom Enhancer Drop Set
Once again, there are more highlights to come. You’ve been warned. The Custom Enhancer Drops by Cover FX are highly concentrated. You can definitely get away with one drop for your whole face. These particular liquid highlights are much more pearlescent than others and create a very romantic glow. You can add these drops to your foundation for an all-over healthy glow, or apply them with a buffing brush after your foundation. Laura Mercier – L’amout Exotique Face Illuminator Collection
Ok. This is the last highlighter. Promise. Glowing skin literally screams summer. A quick highlight just gives the face a fresh look we don’t always have in the dry winter months. The L’amour Exotique palette includes four highlighting shades that really compliment all skin tones. The colour pay-off is strong, yet provides a natural radiance that most powder highlights wouldn’t. Normally, we would suggest to go easy on the highlighter during fall and winter, but why not glow? Glow all the time!
Yves Saint Laurent – Touche Eclat Radiance Perfecting Pen
These pens are some serious secret weapons. It’s not exactly a concealer, not quite a highlighter, but it’s some special concoction that just makes your skin look fantastic. This perfecting wand is available in ten shades, so there is no need to fret, as there will be a shade for you. The formula blends into skin effortlessly and creates a sort of ethereal look. You can use this pen alone on a fresh face, or on top of foundation. We would recommend these gems for the beach but feel free to use them all year-round use.
Drybar – On the Rocks Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo
Finally some hair beauty! This is a shampoo perfect for all hair types. It is formulated with active charcoal which helps in the actual cleansing and cleaning of the hair. This is a great shampoo if you are a heavy product–user, as it rids the scalp of any build up. It also aids in strengthing dry, damaged and/or chemically treated hair. If you’re interested in a clean, fresh head, I suggest you give this a try.
