Canadian media personality Monika Deol is launching her own brand of beauty products made for all skin tones (with a particular focus on people with medium skin tones).
STELLAR* is fully Canadian-made and free of parabens and phthalates. The range includes a face powder, a foundation, a concealer, 2 types of lipsticks, a blush and a mascara. Their foundation comes in 22 shades, 17 of which cater to medium skin tones.
Deol said about her inspiration to create the brand:
“I was constantly running into challenges with my makeup, whether it was concealers that don’t conceal dark circles, foundations that have to be mixed to match, and powders that are too ashy.”
With STELLAR* she hopes to fill the gap in the industry for Hispanic, Latino, Afro-American, Aboriginal, Chinese, Filipino, Middle-Eastern and Indian women. STELLAR* will be available at Sephora.ca on March 7 and at select Sephora locations on March 13.
