Italian luxury brand Moncler has just announced that they will be discontinuing their sub-labels Gamme Bleu and Gamme Rouge.
The Spring/Summer 2018 collection will be the last for both labels, meaning Moncler will no longer have a runway presence. Moncler’s ongoing partnerships with Giambattista Valli and Thom Browne, who were creative directors of Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu respectively, will also come to an end. According to Moncler President and Chief Executive Remo Ruffini, this move signals a shift in focus for the sportswear brand.
In a statement Ruffini said:
“I feel really excited about Moncler’s future and the challenges that await us. I am all too aware that innovation, focus and dedication are vital for improving every brand and every company.”
We can’t wait to find out what Moncler has in store for the future. Until then make sure to get your last few pieces from Gamme Bleu and Gamme Rouge, before it’s too late!
