With the launch of the Trailgrip LP, Moncler continues to evolve its approach to technical footwear, introducing its lightest sneaker to date. Designed for the spring season, the Trailgrip LP is super light weighing 380 grams with a low-profile, streamlined silhouette that emphasizes performance and versatility.

Rooted in the brand’s alpine heritage, the Trailgrip LP draws inspiration from scrambling, a hybrid discipline that merges hiking and rock climbing. This influence shapes the shoe’s construction, prioritizing grip, flexibility, and stability across varied terrain, allowing it to transition seamlessly between mountain trails and urban environments.

The upper is engineered for adaptive comfort, designed to move with the foot while maintaining support across shifting surfaces. A defined M-shaped detail acts as a subtle visual signature, reinforcing the model’s place within the Trailgrip line. Just above the sole, protective foxing wraps the lower portion of the shoe, shielding the upper from abrasion while strengthening the overall structure and connecting the design to earlier iterations.

A concealed midsole enhances cushioning while maintaining a compact, close-to-ground feel, improving stability without adding bulk. At the front, a TPU toe cap stamped with Moncler’s logo reinforces high-impact areas and integrates directly into the outsole, developed in partnership with Vibram. This continuous construction from toe to heel ensures durability and reliable traction across both rugged and everyday surfaces.

Presented as part of Moncler’s ongoing exploration of outdoor-focused design, the Trailgrip LP refines the language of the line through a lighter, more adaptable format. Now available in select stores and online.
