One of my absolutely favourite mixes in the history of music (for me) was the BBC Radio 1’s Massive Attack Essential Mix with Pete Tong from the mid-90’s. The mix featured 90’s hip hop classics and dirty proto-electro beats. Now, beat-smith extraordinary Jamie xx, has taken the reins of the legendary radio-show and throws down a 2-hour set of FIRE! As an added bonus at the 116 minute mark Jamie xx drops a remix of Radiohead’s “Bloom” from The King of Limbs that’s simply mind-blowing! This remix is arguably one of Jamie’s best.
