There’s something about Nordic culture that makes it effortlessly cool. Perhaps that’s why the Nordic diet is surpassing the Mediterranean diet trend this year, or why its fashion- with its minimalist approach – continues to make its way into Canada.
Danish label Minimum is one of our favourite Danish brands at the moment and they recently released their Spring/Summer 2015 collection to Canada with the Scandinavian flare of minimalism and sports culture. The collection focuses on combining pastels and florals with the traditional Scandinavian shades of black, white and grey.
It’s all about styling in contrasts, like the oversized blouses, high knecks and crop tops paired with sleek and boxy boyfriend trenches and they decided to put opposing looks together – Miami versus Nordic. So, you get laid-back clean linen shirts and beige trenches, against the flashiness of Miami edgy styles.
The collection is available at stockists across Canada this February.
