The new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is AMG’s boldest step into the electric era yet, and it is arriving with a loud bang.
This four-door performance car packs up to 1,153 horsepower thanks to a new setup using three electric motors, including two powering the rear wheels and one up front. The result is supercar speed with everyday usability. It launches from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds and can hit 300 km/h with the optional Driver’s Package.
What really matters is how the power is delivered. AMG developed a new high-performance battery inspired by Formula 1 technology that is built to stay cool under pressure, allowing the car to keep delivering hard acceleration repeatedly rather than fading after a few runs. It also charges incredibly fast. Hooked up to a 600 kW charger, the GT 4-Door Coupe can add more than 460 kilometres of range in only 10 minutes.

AMG also knows its audience. Even though this is an EV, the car includes a V8-inspired sound and driving mode called AMGFORCE S+ that recreates the feel, sound, and even the sensation of shifting gears like a traditional AMG performance car.
Beyond its straight-line speed, the GT 4-Door Coupe is packed with technology designed to make it feel sharp and controlled in corners while still staying comfortable on long drives. Active suspension, rear wheel steering, and intelligent All Wheel Drive all work together behind the scenes to make the car feel smaller, quicker, and more planted than something this size should.
The design matches the performance. It sits lower and wider than before, with an illuminated AMG grille, aggressive bodywork, and active aerodynamic parts that automatically adjust to improve stability at speed. Inside, the cabin blends futuristic screens with classic AMG attitude, putting performance controls front and centre.
The new AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is less about replacing the old AMG formula and more about evolving it. It still delivers the drama, speed, and over-the-top energy the brand is known for, with electric power now leading the charge.
