Foot Locker is rolling into the summer with guns blazing: legendary streetwear designer Melody Ehsani has recently been named the new Creative Director of women’s business. Ehsani is the founder of ME. – a streetwear brand that specializes in jewelry, footwear and clothing. Her vision aims to inspire women and make fashion accessible, and her brand has collaborated with celebrity powerhouses including Lauryn Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, and Jordan Brand, among others.

One of her first forays has been to design a basketball-inspired capsule collection, launching Thursday, June 10 at 12pm ET. The collection features colours inspired by nature and temperature and how they connect with Melody’s love of basketball. The clothing line is priced at $45-80 CAD and will be available in sizes ranging from XS-2X. This is the first of several capsule collections debuting this year and in celebration of this first launch, Foot Locker will host a virtual festival called “No More Next”, which will invite fans to participate in a digital experience featuring interactive conversations and product sweepstakes.
