“Mean To Me” Feat. Agyness Deyn

Check out Agyness Deyn’s darker side in this stunning short film noir by Nowness. Directors David McDermott and Peter McGough create mysterious beauty in this film shot in a Manhattan apartment circa 1932, complete with art deco furniture. Known for period authenticity, McDermott and McGough pay special attention to the allusions of Hitchcock and Fritz Lang while portraying this cinematic time capsule.

Check out the clip from the 13 minute film in which Deyn plays a victimized starlet consumed by greed and passion in a Zac Posen gown with a string of Mikimoto pearls opposite Linus Roache, who plays her abusive lover.

The film will hit the festival circuit in October at the Kunsthalle Wien in Austria.
