Sensual R&B crooner Maxwell sneakily dropped his first album in 7 (SEVEN!) years last night, titled “blackSUMMERS’night”. Apparently, it’s part 2 of an album trilogy, the title of his latest album is a throwback to his last released album, titled “BLACKsummers’night” (dare we assume his third installation will highlight the word “night” in the title?)
This album is jazzy, sexy, and very much so the Maxwell we remember. Maxwell can still sing, rock and make us fall in love with love again with his latest tracks, and we’re pretty impressed at how he’s remained amazing after all these years; with Maxwell, it’s evident that true talent never falters.
