Marci is the singularly named new project of Marta Cikojevic, who you may recognize from her work with TOPS, or one of the various other cool projects she’s been a part of over the years. Earlier this year she made her solo debut with “Entertainment“, her first single with a stunning up-close and personal video to match. She’s now shared “Immaterial Girl”, her second single, a groovy fun track that will feature on her debut self-titled album, due out August 5th on Arbutus Records. Directed and edited by Chloé Soldevila, the video for “Immaterial Girl” features Marci posing, dancing and giving good face (with on point make-up by Juliette Morgane) in various chic stylings (by Amanda Lee Shirreffs) serving the VHS funky fantasy. With lyrics like “she’s got a perfect pout /a purse that screams clout” this has been stuck in our head since the first listen. Watch it above.
